Yaaaaay! Everyone join the Slug Club! ;D When I saw the chapter title 'Horace Slughorn' I thought here we have the man with the greatest name ever. As a character I think he's good...I like the whole thing about him getting close to the famous and influencial and the Slug stuff rocks. So I declare my love for Sluggy, I am Queen Slug! ;D |

I thought his name was quite funny. I also found his personality quite funny and very un-Slytherinish. I mean he seemed perfectly fine with Muggle-borns as long as they were good and showed potential of being successful. So you are now Queen Slug--ruler of Advertising? Haha.

LOL WOOOOOOOOOOOO!! More Slugs! ;D LOL not ruler of advertising but I am Queen Slug! Yeah I liked his personality cos of that too...it was strange seeing a Slytherin who didn't care about blood or what House they were in, just about success. And it was even weirder there being a Potions master other than Snape!!  |

OM I forgot about Neville! Aww if only he'd not had Snape in the first few years, he might've been better. I think that was one of the big shocks in it...Snape being given DADA. I wonder why?  |

It was because everyone just got used to the fact that he'd never get the position so it came as a shocker this time around.

And DD made the comment: Ever since Voldemort didn't get the position, the DADA teachers have only lasted a year, if not less, depending on the circumstances...

DD probably knew that Snape would be gone by the end of the year and so he ended up giving him the DADA position! In which it makes it seem even more that DD knew what Snape was planning on doing.
